Lt. Brad Hutcherson
The Lt. Brad Hutcherson Memorial Fire School was an idea that was first thought of in the middle of Brad's funeral service.
The intent of this event is to accomplish four (4) things:
The Lt. Brad Hutcherson Memorial fire school has evolved from an idea to an event that looks to be held annually. The idea was to provide top-notch training to those that need it most at minimal cost while honoring Lt. Brad Hutcherson and his contributions to the Fire Service in Robertson County, Tennessee. Lt. Hutcherson was killed in a motor vehicle crash in August of 2008 and his loss has left a void in the lives of family, friends, and emergency responders. The Fire School hopes to provide healing to those trying to cope with Brad's loss by being involved in something that would please him and help better prepare our emergency responders.
We have some of the best instructors around presenting at our event. All presenters are certified Instructors and each has several years of fire service experience. Most have served in Career and Volunteer departments and have served in various positions/ranks throughout their careers. Some of our Instructors are very well known on the national circuit as they have presented at the FDIC, Firehouse Expo, and National Fire Academy. There will be something for every student, from the fire recruit to the experienced Company or Chief Officer.
The Lt. Brad Hutcherson Memorial Fire School strives to enhance the knowledge, skill, and ability of all attending students. Each year we will have informative classes, the best instructors, challenging hands on activities, and great door prize and raffle opportunities. All proceeds from this event will go to the Lt. Brad Hutcherson Memorial Fund, that will be awarded to emergency service providers.
We know this event would make Brad proud and we hope you can be a part of it. We encourage anyone interested in participating, donating, etc. to contact us for more information. Thanks for your interest in the Lt. Brad Hutcherson Memorial Fire School and we hope to see or hear from you soon.
